Rachel Choy

Hi! My name is Rachel Choy, and I am an Asian-Canadian illustrator based in Toronto. I am a graduate at OCADU, with a Bachelors in Design, a major in illustration and a minor for Games and Play.

I developed my interest of art and illustration through an early introduction to Japanese animations. I later found interest in video games which led to my passion for concept art and game design. 

Throughout my studies, I continue to find interest in new and creative ways to communicate her work through visual storytelling.

My style is influenced by Chinese linework. I am detailed oriented and I prefer to take my time during the ideation process.

 

I am very passionate about improving my skills and creating art for others.
